Bowen is a gentle, subtle and relaxing experience. It is suitable for people of all ages, from the newborn to the elderly and everyone in between, including pregnant women, people with chronic conditions and those who have restricted mobility.
Although Bowen is a hands on therapy, there is no manipulation or force involved. The therapist uses fingers and thumbs to perform rolling type moves over various muscles and ligaments to encourage a response from the body to rebalance itself. The moves can be carried out through light clothing.
Initial appointments last about an hour and additional treatments up to 45 minutes. To gain the most benefit from Bowen it is advisable to have a minimum of 3 treatments with a week between each treatment.
People have found Bowen Technique to be helpful in relieving ailments such as back pain, frozen shoulder, hayfever, asthma, jaw misalignment, migraines, fertility issues and many more.
Fees are £60 for one session

In my opinion, Bowen is a fantastic therapy and something everyone should try at least once!
I qualified in 2009 with the College of Bowen Studies https://www.collegeofbowenstudies.co.uk/ to become a Bowen therapist and am a full member of the Bowen Therapy Professional Association http://www.bowentherapy.org.uk. I currently practise from the Orange Tree Clinic in Broad Street, Teddington.
I continue to develop my practice of Bowen by attending workshops as part of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
